Happy 60th birthday to most of you!

Another reunion is history.

Above is a group photo of the Class of '69 from the MHS reunion. Taken at Thacker's house last Saturday. We didn't have the huge turnout we did for our 40th two years ago (we had almost 30 then!), but those who made it had fun.

In case you can't tell, here's who's in the picture, left to right:

Howard Calcote, Mike Darsey, Mike Haynes, Brad Parker, Becky Shelton West, Thacker Haynes and Kay Greer. Tom Kesterson was there but had to leave before the picture was taken. This was the first time Becky had returned to McLean for a reunion after leaving after the eighth grade! She graduated from high school in Weatherford, Okla.

Hope to see you in 2013, if not before!

Another district title!

The McLean softball team won district again with a 5-1 victory over Clarendon yesterday at Clarendon! This is just the third year McLean has had a team, and I believe it's the third district championship. It could have been worse; The Lady Tigers had the bases loaded twice and didn't get any runs either time. The winning pitcher was senior Ashley Byron.

2nd at state!

The Lady Tigers finished second, not bad at all, and a bunch of McLean and former McLean residents were there to see it! The picture above is the team with the state runnerup trophy (one of the top two teams in Texas!).
