Wheeler is also having their reunion the same weekend and have asked for a rematch. Don & Ron Reeves must not believe Thacker can run another kickoff back. By the way, Coach has no memory or knowledge now or 40 years ago about the origin of this document. 
That's great! I had fun witnessing the kickoff return (and the rest of the game) from the Wheeler pressbox, which was pretty quiet. --Mike H.
ReplyDeleteI really got pumped for the kickoff after watching Jerry Don run through the Wheeler cheerleaders sign. Probably the coolest move I ever saw. As for a rematch, surely 40 years hasn't dimmed the memory of the whipping we put on them.
