That's the ticket!

Wow! I had not looked at the blog in several days, and has been an explosion of pictures! That's great. I hope it spreads.

Nila's Reunion Photos

Brad & Bradley

Here's a recent picture of my grandson. Brenda and I have really enjoyed spoilling him and sending him back to Mother and Daddy.

Vacation pic

Kathy and I just spent three days in Houston on a little vacation, and I probably lived up to my reputation as a bookworm, because the main thing I did in Houston was visit the Museum of Printing History. For a journalism teacher, it was pretty fascinating, and I took a bunch of pictures of old printing presses, etc., that I can use in my classes. We also ate a lot, including the best bread pudding I've ever eaten at the Bayou City Seafood and Pasta restaurant. Even if you don't like bread pudding, you'll like this! --Mike H.

Little State Tennis Tournament Texas A&M

My USTA team played in College Station this weekend. We won our division but lost in the finals 2-3. Our team was by far the oldest at the event as we were all but one on my senior team. We are undefeated in Austin USTA Senior league. We will win Austin senior league again and play for state in Tyler, Texas in September for a chance to go to nationals in California in October. gde
